The group started way back in 2006 as a singing group before they identified themselves as Jehovah Shalom Acapella.
This whole idea was brought by Asaph the Basser, composer and writer of some of their originally done songs. The group started as four boys in High School as Asaph, Wasswa, Kato and Elijah and later as years went by joined by Joseph and James.
